2:15 and Craig Charles has started boozing
Red Dwarf From www.newsoftheworld.co.uk

BLEARY-EYED Craig Charlesleaves a pub after a lunchtime boozing session, sparking fears the Corrie star's old drink problem is once again out of control.

Scruffy and unshaven, Craig—soap cabbie Lloyd Mullaney—spent more than an hour knocking back wine in his local, the Greyhound in Ashley, Cheshire, on Thursday.

One witness said: "When he decided to go home he must have been over the limit because he asked the landlord to drive him. It is sad to see him looking like this, drinking on his own."

A Corrie insider this week told us: "There are real worries about Craig. It is known he is often in the pub. It's not a good environment for him."

The star has also started taking taxis from his Cheshire home to the Granada studios in Manchester and then going boozing after work. He was pictured last Friday night drinking wine alone at the nearby Deansgate pub.

The actor's latest boozing sessions came as his wife Jackie, 45, and their two young daughters were on holiday. She walked out on him last year but they patched things up after he went to rehab and promised: "I'm clean."

Craig said yesterday: "I enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I have my life back in order." And he claimed he looked dishevelled because he had been doing D-I-Y.
