2:15 and Craig Charles has started boozing
Red Dwarf From www.newsoftheworld.co.uk

BLEARY-EYED Craig Charlesleaves a pub after a lunchtime boozing session, sparking fears the Corrie star's old drink problem is once again out of control.

Scruffy and unshaven, Craig—soap cabbie Lloyd Mullaney—spent more than an hour knocking back wine in his local, the Greyhound in Ashley, Cheshire, on Thursday.

One witness said: "When he decided to go home he must have been over the limit because he asked the landlord to drive him. It is sad to see him looking like this, drinking on his own."

Doctor Who 3.07/3.08: "Human Nature"/"The Family of Blood"
New Doctor Who Serial Two years ago, in “Father’s Day”, Paul Cornell’s first script for the series, there was a moment where a bride and groom talked of meeting waiting for a taxi, when the Doctor admitted, with a hint of regret, that “I could never have a life like that”. This two-parter spins off from that moment, giving us a chance to contemplate how very different the Doctor is from us ordinary mortals.

Battle Star Galactica Sad but true: "Battlestar Galactica" will end its run next year after its fourth and final season.

After weeks of speculation, the end is in fact near. According to a high level source at Sci Fi Channel parent company NBC Universal, the show will dock after its next 22-episode season, slated to kick off in early 2008.

Sources say the decision came down from executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick, who are said to feel creatively like this upcoming arc will be its last.

Agyeman Not Leaving Who
New Doctor Who Serial The official Web site of Freema Agyeman, who plays Martha Jones on the third season of the BBC's Doctor Who, shot down rumors that the actress would be leaving the series. The site posted a statement from the BBC: "It is absolute rubbish that Freema Agyeman has been axed or sacked from Doctor Who. However we do not comment on future storylines."

The statement came in reaction to a story published in the British tabloid The Sun, which said that Agyeman was being axed because "show chiefs think her performance is not as strong as in her earlier episodes."

Agyeman joined the series opposite star David Tennant at the beginning of season three, following in the footsteps of Billie Piper, who played the Doctor's companion, Rose Tyler, in the first two seasons.

The third season of Doctor Who is currently airing in the United Kingdom on BBC One. It will begin airing in the United States on SCI FI Channel in July.

Original Dalek/Cyberman voice dies
Doctor Who TarQuin writes "
Peter Hawkins, the man who helped create the terrifying voice of the Daleks, has died.

A popular actor, Peter worked mainly in children's television, providing voices for the original Bill and Ben (and developing their curious Oddle-Poddle language), Captain Pugwash and even Zippy (eventually replaced by fellow Dalek man Roy Skelton).

In the 1980s, he narrated the cartoon adventures of Jimbo and the Jet Set and The Family-Ness.

For most fans of Doctor Who he was, with David Graham, the voice of the original Daleks, working on every Dalek serial of the 1960s as well as the two big-screen Dalek movies.

Peter died on 8 July. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary and his son, Silas.

Actor suspended over drug claims
Red Dwarf Actor Craig Charles has been suspended from ITV1 soap opera Coronation Street following allegations of drug taking. "No immediate decision has been taken on the length of the suspension as further inquiries need to be made," she said.
